The Challenge

Broadsword Solutions, an agileCMMI performance improvement company, was looking to generate new sales leads. In order to meet aggressive growth goals, the company would need to resonate with buyers in diverse target markets, explain how its approach to the compliance requirement could solve key business challenges, and reach qualified leads at every stage of the decision process.

The Solution

We set out to attract the right kinds of clients through targeted, high-quality, audience-centric content that could be used across a wide array of communication channels. Our work began by exploring the unique needs and challenges for potential software and engineering clients across the defense insurance. By understanding the motivations of each audience, we created content that would address their pain points and was aligned to search terms that would drive buyers to Broadsword. We then developed a range of materials to drive engagement and new sales opportunities, including a long-form downloadable eBooks, hundreds of blog posts, reports, articles, social content, and email campaigns.

The Results

In three years, Broadsword’s efforts generated 300,000 visitors to content we developed for Broadsword. Our efforts created more than 300 new leads for Broadsword, as well as new engagements with more than 2,500 new contacts on the company newsletter list. The content we developed increased traffic to Broadsword’s website through paid search, paid social activities, email marketing, and organic pageviews.
